Last week I spent at the beach and while I am not a beach person, I did find some time to read. A few reviews to pass along:

It is a good, quick read with examples of each type. I
enjoyed reading some of Dr. Towns’ reflection of history in some of the
innovations and how the current practices grew out of some previous century
innovations.

The Ultimate Gift by Jim Stovall is a parable about a young man that is promised a large inheritance from a rich uncle. The condition to receiving the inheritance is to undergo a year of learning what life is about. The story moves along and has some good life lessons. This book began as a self published venture and has been passed around among wealthy families and their advisors in recent years. Earlier this year there was a movie based on the book. It is worth the 90 minutes to enjoy the lessons.
