Just got this amazingly generous lead from my colleague Margaret Slusher (Director of Church Planting) for an expenses-paid trip to the Holy Land in June 2008 for megachurch pastors and their spouse! [megachurch = church with average weekly worship attendance over 2,000]
Emmanuel School of Religion’s Institute for Excellence in Ministry is pleased to present "Renewing God’s Call: A Pastoral Pilgrimage to the Holy Land." This pastoral renewal experience is fully funded and made possible because of a generous grant to Emmanuel School of Religion from the CF Foundation.Pastors who currently serve a mega-church, have at least five years experience in the ministry, are 35-55 years of age, and are physically able to make the trip are welcome to apply.
This trip will be limited to 10-12 pastors and spouses (spouses must attend). To apply, fill out the application found on the website--making sure to complete both sections. All applications must be completed by midnight on January 31, 2008, no exceptions. Accepted applicants will be notified on or before February 1, 2008. A non-refundable $400 fee (per couple) will be required after notification. All other expenses for travel, lodging, meals, etc. will be covered by the program.
