New Study Shows Trends in Tithing and Donating
The Barna Group recently released their findings regarding tithing and giving. Very interesting.
Some highlights from the research on 2007...
- 24 percent of evangelicals tithed
- fewer than 1% of single adults tithed
- Protestants were four times more likely to tithe (8% to 2%)
- 84% of all adults gave some mone to churches or non-profits
- median amount donated was $400
