I would love to hear your thoughts concerning why Mega Churches are on the rise and House Churches / Organic Churches are not. Coupled with that, why is being written about House Church / Organic church if the model is not seeing a lot of sucess. That seems like a strange paradox. If one is rising and the other is not shouldn't the interest and "how to" of the church world naturally follow the growing model?

Very helpful observations and insights, Dave. I will be using both articles for discussion with staff today. Interestingly, I surface one nuanced point of the female teaching pastor debate (a pro and con) in my next book, Ethnic Blends: Mixing Diversity Into Your Local Church, due out in April 2010 with (of course) Leadership Network (and Zondervan, too:-)

Thanks again for the summation.
