Next up on our Review from THE NINES and the run up to Aha! Fresh Voices, New Ideas on March 3 is Margaret Feinberg.
This was one of the most encouraging talks of the event.
She led with these statements:
"I first want to say to all pastors THANK YOU, For your sacrifices that happen in many ways.
Know that you are not alone
Keep going – I am rooting for you."
This of course meant that all of us were rooting for her.
She then spoke about her new book she was releasing in late September 2009: Scouting the Divine (affiliate link here).
(It's a great book by the way, I got to read it since THE NINES)
The book is about her research with shepherds, beekeepers, and vitners. Her talk for THE NINES spoke of two different types of winemakers she interviewed for her book. Both make wine but there is a difference between boutique winemakers and mass market wine makers.
She asks: What Type of Vineyard are you in?
I hope we get to hear from Margaret again soon.
